KANSAS CITY, Mo. --
He's stealing hearts all over the nation: Bob "The Bachelor" Guiney met with KMBC's Emily Aylward to dish about love and kisses -- TV-style.The latest star of ABC's hit show "The Bachelor" is a household name. Guiney has appeared nearly a half-dozen times on "Oprah," sharing his open and honest personality. But is the publicity too much for him? On a recent show, he told the talk-show host that he "just can't watch it any more."Maybe it's the kissing, the heavy breathing and all kinds of intimate moments caught on tape. So Aylward asked Guiney why he was seen lip-locking so much.
"I didn't kiss as many women as it seems when you are watching the promos -- but I am definitely an affectionate person, and I wanted to make sure there's that chemistry before any moves are made at all," he said.Guiney's first move began a while ago when he appeared on "The Bachelorette." Trista, the star of that show, turned Guiney away. But the single man's charm won over viewers, and producers decided to have him back.Aylward asked when Guiney would be giving private lessons on the "River Dance," steps viewers first saw on "The Bachelorette," but he didn't seem enthused."If I have to see that clip one more time, I might just have to turn my head and start crying," Guiney joked. But now, it seems the women vying for Guiney's attention are the tearful ones. Most fell fast for the Michigan-bred mortgage banker, Aylward said. Raised in a tight-knit family, Guiney succeeded at sports in high school. It wasn't until later in life that he struggled -- most recently with a failed marriage, Aylward reported. But now, it seems Guiney is finding humor again. And apparently, he's also found true love -- but he can't talk about it."Sorry, I wish I could. I want to scream it from the rooftops, but I can't right now," he said.
