Two Blue Springs women who had $2,000 of Oprah Winfrey's money to spend have given it all out, KMBC reported Wednesday.

The women were part of a "Pay-It-Forward" program, designed to send members of Oprah's studio audience out to give money away and spread hope.

Melodie Chrisman and Cammie Borchers gave most of the money to ICAN of Independence. ICAN is an organization that helps disabled adults work in the community.

The women gave the rest of the money away randomly to people buying groceries and gas, KMBC reported.

Both have been invited back to a follow-up program on Oprah on Nov. 21.
