KANSAS CITY, Mo. --
James Nelson auctioned off the back of his head for $7,000. Now, he's got the tattoo to prove it.
A Texas Internet company won the eBay auction, in which Nelson promised to use his head as advertisement space for the highest bidder.
Savage's Tattoos in Kansas City put the logo of CIHost.com on Nelson's head Monday.
Nelson's tattoo -- which took 4.5 hours to complete -- will have to remain in place for 5 years.
Nelson said he auctioned his head in order to help pay for his own business.
"It's going to be something unique that nobody's done before, and it's better than going to a bank for a business loan," he said.
