KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police have identified a fifth body found recently in the east-central corridor.

Detectives said the body found Sept. 3 at 2905 Park was that of Carmen Hunt, 40.

Hunt was reported missing by her family on July 15. She was last seen on June 14 at her home at 27th Street and Park. She apparently told a friend that she was leaving town to buy drugs, police said.

Police still have not identified the sixth body, which was found at 2745 Olive on Sept. 4.

Forensic anthropologists describe the body as that of a black female, 5 feet 3 inches tall and between the ages of 39 and 50 years old.

Victims:
July 14, 2004 -- Anna Ewing, 42, was found at 2608 E. 23rd St.
Sept. 2, 2004 -- The bodies of Patricia Wilson Butler and Sheliah McKinzie were found inside a detached garage at 2611 Montgall
Sept. 3, 2004 -- Carmen Hunt, 40, was found at 2905 Park.
Sept. 4, 2004 -- The body of Darci Williams was found at 2431 Prospect.
Sept. 4, 2004 -- An unidentified victim was found at 2745 Olive.

Victims Of Serial Murderer

Police believe that one person is responsible for all of the murders. All of the bodies were found in the same area of the city.
