Camper Explosion Injures 3 On East Side

Man, Woman, Girl Were Staying In Camper

An explosion in a camper injured three people on the city's east side Wednesday night.

KMBC's Kris Ketz reported that a man, a woman, and a 4-year-old girl had been staying inside the camper, which was parked between two buildings at 3618 Fremont Ave.

Officials said the camper exploded at about 9 p.m. and the three victims suffered second-degree burns.

The cause of the explosion is not known.

No names were released.
