KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- In a turn perhaps inspired by Vince Vaughn or Owen Wilson, Oprah Winfrey crashed several Tulsa, Okla., wedding receptions over the weekend, collecting footage that will be seen on her show.

Roland Omoresemi, a wedding photographer with Banfii Photography, which is based in the Kansas City area, was at the Tulsa wedding and snapped some pictures of Oprah.

"When we were getting ready, we heard that Oprah was in town buying wedding gifts," said Sarah Klein, the sister of groom Ben Klein, who married Heather Anderson. "We were all joking that she should come to the wedding."

And that's exactly what happened.

"She came in wearing her pink dress and was all hidden under her hat," she said. "I knew it was her."

"She was extremely pleasant. She hugged everybody, posed for pictures," Omoresemi told KMBC's Kris Ketz.

Winfrey dropped off dishes for the newlyweds and posed for a picture during her few minutes at the reception.

Omoresemi said he snapped as many images as he could in the 15 minutes she was there.

"I wanted to capture the expressions on people's faces, the reactions of people in the room, what were they thinking. You would see a lot of people just gasp," Omoresemi said. "It seemed everybody was on the phone calling somebody. 'You can't believe who is here.'"

Before visiting the reception, Winfrey stopped off at another wedding party, according to KOTV.

She surprised Morgan and Bethany Francis at their reception, congratulating the couple and leaving a wedding gift of more dishes.

The segments from her Tulsa wedding reception visits are to be aired in a program in September.

Omoresemi, who has been a professional photographer for eight years, said he took the Tulsa job at the last minute so a colleague could work on another assignment.
