Man Abducts, Robs Real Estate Agent
Investigators Say Robber Tried Contacting Victim Again

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police are asking for the public's help after a man abducted and robbed a real estate agent on Aug. 6.Investigators said the woman met the man in Grandview to show him several houses. After seeing a few homes, the victim told police the man pulled a gun on her and forced her to drive to several banks and stores in Grandview and south Kansas City to withdraw money, police said.After getting the money, the real estate agent was let go.
Police said that since the robbery, the man has tried calling the real estate agent and demanding more money.Officials said they are looking for Jewell D. Saunders, 26. He was charged with kidnapping, first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. Saunders is on federal probation for a weapons charge, police said.Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
