Channel 9 Fan Club In Gear
KMBC is sponsoring the Channel 9 Fan Club again this summer. It starts June 1 and runs through August.
In 2005, KMBC donated more than 600 fans and 50 air conditioners.
Our co-sponsors are Westlake Hardware, the Salvation Army and Answerette Telephone Service.
Channel 9 has provided free fans to low-income families across the Kansas City metro area for more than 10 years. Families with medical problems or families with young children are given priority status.
People who would like to request a fan should call (816) 968-9432.
If someone is interested in making a donation, please call (816) 968-9000. KMBC cannot accept used fans or air conditioners.
